Fonderies Hachette & Driout (FHD), based in the Grand Est region of France and with over 100 years of history, were acquired on March 1st, 2026 by Paralloy Group through its subsidiary Manoir France.
This strategic operation is part of the Group’s development in the nuclear, defence and energy sectors, while strengthening its industrial presence in France in the field of critical castings.
This acquisition has led to the creation of a new entity, Firth Vickers France, integrated into the Group’s Energy Division. The FHD site will now operate under this new organization, as part of Manoir France’s activities.
The integration of FVF will strengthen industrial capabilities in Europe, particularly to meet growing demand for advanced metallurgical expertise, precision engineering and the production of critical components in highly demanding and regulated environments.
In this context, Framatome is supporting the integration of FVF alongside Manoir France. This partnership aims to develop sovereign production of high-quality castings for nuclear and defence applications.
This evolution also opens up new opportunities for the site, particularly in terms of industrial synergies, knowledge sharing and technical innovation. Through this integration, FVF is fully aligned with a long-term development strategy, aiming to strengthen its position in strategic markets and support the challenges of the energy transition, defence and nuclear industries.
